During the breeding season, Black-Throated Tits build dome-shaped nests that are intricately woven with spider silk, moss, and lichen. They lay 4-7 eggs per clutch, which are incubated by both parents. The young birds are fed by both parents and leave the nest after about 3 weeks.

The Black-Throated Tit is listed as a species of Least Concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), due to its relatively large range and stable population. Nevertheless, with its charming appearance, acrobatic behavior, and sweet calls, the Black-Throated Tit remains a cherished member of Vietnam’s diverse avifauna
