Why This Route Works

One target secured, then move to the next

Each destination adds a different pitta opportunity. Rather than following a rigid timetable, the guide keeps working a priority species while conditions are productive, then shifts effort to the next target once a strong photographic opportunity.

Best for

Bird photographers whose main priority is pittas and who prefer patient hide work, repeat sessions and a specialist route over a broad species checklist.

Keep in mind

Pittas are secretive and photography can require long periods of waiting. Weather, hide activity and bird behaviour may change the sequence, and no species or photograph can be guaranteed.

What We’ll Be Looking For

Pitta photography highlights

Lowland pittas in Cat Tien, Blue Pitta around Di Linh and highland pitta photography near Da Lat create a compact specialist route with time for repeat attempts.
The sequence is intentionally flexible. Productive targets may receive extra time

This journey is arranged privately around your travel dates, subject to specialist guide, hide and accommodation availability. Early planning is recommended so current pitta activity and field arrangements can be checked before departure.
Final pricing depends on group size, travel dates, room arrangement and current hide and transport services. We provide a complete quotation after checking availability.
A successful session may change the rest of the itinerary. Once a priority pitta has been photographed well, the guide can redirect time toward the next target rather than repeating the same hide unnecessarily.
