[3-Day] Cat Tien Birding Tour

A focused three-day birding journey through Cat Tien’s lowland forest, combining forest trails, quiet hides and different birding habitats from dawn to late afternoon.
Cat Tien National Park

Easy–moderate field pace

Why This Route Works

Three days for focused lowland forest birding

Three days gives enough time to work different parts of Cat Tien rather than repeating one trail. Forest paths, hides, open edges and quieter sections of the park create a compact route for lowland birds without requiring a longer expedition.

Best for

Birders who want a short but focused introduction to southern Vietnam’s lowland forest birds, with private guiding, early field sessions and time for patient trail and hide birding.

Keep in mind

Expect early starts, warm and humid forest conditions, moderate walking and periods of patient waiting. Target birds depend on weather, season and daily activity, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
