[25-Day] Comprehensive Vietnam Birding Tour

Our most comprehensive Vietnam birding journey, linking Sapa and Fansipan with northern limestone forests, the Central Highlands and southern lowlands before finishing at Cat Tien.
Bach Ma National Park
Private
Moderate–challenging field pace

Why This Route Works

Vietnam from the high mountains to the lowlands

Adding Sapa and Fansipan brings a true high-elevation northern chapter to the national route, creating one continuous journey through Vietnam’s major birding landscapes.

Best for

Experienced birders with around three and a half weeks who want the broadest habitat and regional coverage in one Vietnam journey.

Keep in mind

Expect early starts, long transfers and two more demanding mountain sections at Fansipan and Ngoc Linh. Accommodation is simpler in some remote areas.

Included & Excluded
Included: private overland transport, 24 nights’ accommodation, meals listed in the confirmed itinerary, specialist bird guide, entrance fees and planned local field transfers. Not included: flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips and services not listed in the confirmed itinerary.
Binoculars, suitable field footwear, rain protection, insect repellent, headlamp and layered clothing for both high mountains and tropical lowlands. A trekking pole is recommended for Fansipan and other steep mountain sections.
This journey requires early planning because of its length, remote stays and local field logistics. We confirm route direction and access before final booking.
Final pricing depends on group size, travel dates, room arrangements and current local services. A complete quotation is prepared after the full route is checked.
The journey intentionally includes several long transfers because each major move introduces a genuinely different habitat and bird community.
