The coldest months, January to March, may require warm clothing due to cloudiness. Central Vietnam experiences hot and dry weather from mid-January to late August, with peak rainfall in October and November. Birding in this region is best from December to May. In the south, with constant temperatures between 25-35°C, the dry season from November to April is ideal for birding. For Cat Tien National Park and Dalat, November to July is recommended, while Can Gio Mangrove Forest is best visited from December to March during the shorebirds' wintering season.
