Tour begins in Ho Chi Minh city, where we will embark on a wildlife experience at Nui Dinh and prepare for herping with our expert guide.
On day 2, we will drive to Ma Da and enjoy an afternoon of birding before herping at night. Day 3 is dedicated to birding and herping in Ma Da before we proceed to Cat Tien National Park for a three-night stay. There will be several herping opportunities in the park over the next few days, complemented by full-day birding excursions.
On day 7, we will have an early morning birding session in Cat Tien National Park before driving to Di Linh for later afternoon birding and herping at night. Day 8 is dedicated to birding and herping at Nui San Pass before we drive to Dalat for two nights.
On the final days of the tour, we will engage in morning birding and herping sessions, followed by check-out and departure from Lien Khuong Airport. This tour will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse herpetofauna of Vietnam and the opportunity to observe them in their natural habitats.

Schedule Details

Day 1 (9:00 to ± midnight): Ho Chi Minh city – Nui Dinh

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, we will pick you up and drive to Nui Dinh for an afternoon of easy birding before preparing for herping at night.

Day 2 (9:00 to ± midnight): Nui Dinh – Ma Da

After breakfast, we will drive to Ma Da and have birding in the afternoon. In the evening, we will go herping to search for amphibians and reptiles.

Day 3 (9:00 to ± midnight): Ma Da

We will start our day with morning birding and herping, and then drive to Cat Tien National Park where we will spend three nights.

Day 4 (9:00 to ± midnight): Cat Tien

After breakfast, we will take a short walk in the forest for herping in the evening.

Day 5 (9:00 to ± midnight): Cat Tien

We will spend the whole day birding and herping in Cat Tien National Park, and then do a bit of herping at night.

Day 6 (9:00 to ± midnight): Cat Tien

Another full day of birding and herping in Cat Tien National Park, and then herping at night.

Day 7 (9:00 to ± afternoon): Di Linh

In the early morning, we will go birding in Cat Tien National Park before driving to Di Linh for an afternoon of birding and herping at night.

Day 8 (9:00 to ± afternoon): Di Linh

Today, we will spend the whole day birding and herping at Nui San Pass before driving to Dalat for the night. We will spend some time at one spot for herping before reaching the hotel.

Day 9 (9:00 to ± afternoon): Dalat

In the morning, we will do some easy birding and herping before an afternoon of exploring the area.

Day 10 (9:00 to ± afternoon): Dalat

On our last day, we will go birding in the morning before checking out and ending the tour. We will drop you off at Lien Khuong Airport.
