This tour takes you through some of the most outstanding birding sites in Vietnam. Cat Tien National Park is one such location, situated in South Vietnam, and boasts the most accessible site in South Annam for the Orange-necked Partridge, a bird that birders across the globe desire to see. The park also provides an opportunity to spot an array of species, including Green Peafowl, Great Slaty, Pale-headed, Black-and-buff, Heart-spotted, and White-bellied Woodpecker, Wreathed Hornbill, Great Hornbill, Orange-breasted Trogon, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, and many more.
The Central highland (C Annam) houses the Dalat Plateau, which has a natural evergreen forest and coniferous forest, home to six endemic bird species and various subspecies. This area is also an EBAs, and birders can expect to see Bar-backed Partridge, Red-vented Barbet, Long-tailed Broadbill, Mountain Imperial Pigeon, Black Eagle, Rufous-bellied Eagle, Burmese Shrike, and other notable species.

Summary Itinerary: 12 days birding tour in Central highland and South Vietnam
Day 1: Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel or the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll be transferred to Cat Tien National Park, where your afternoon birding exploration commences.
Days 2-3: Spend two full days immersed in the diverse birdlife of Cat Tien National Park. Highlights include the Orange-necked Partridge, Germain’s Peacock-Pheasant, and a myriad of woodpeckers, hornbills, and pittas.
