Before taking birding in Takou National Reserve which is located 30 km southeast of Phan Thiet City, it takes one hour drive from Mui Ne, and it has its own special magic. The presence of Trachypithecus margarita (the Annamese silvered langur) and Pygathrix nigripes (the black-shanked douc) is of popular interest representing a southeasternmost range extension for both species.
