Day 1: Ho Chi Minh - Tram Chim National Park 7:00 am: Depart from school by bus to Tram Chim National Park 10:00 am: Arrival at the park and introduction to the program by WANEE team 10:30 Learn about livelihood: Visit a nearby local village to learn about traditional handicraft-making techniques, such as weaving and pottery, and how these crafts contribute to the local economy. 12:00 pm: Lunch 1:00 pm: Learn about water: Boat tour through the park's wetland area to observe and learn about different aquatic species, such as fish, snails, and turtles. 3:00 pm: Learn about plants & birds: Guided hike through the park's forest area to observe and learn about various plant and bird species. 5:00 pm: Return to hotel and free time to relax before participating in evening class discussion.
Day 2: Tram Chim National Park - Ho Chi Minh 6:00 am: Learn about birds: Guided bird-watching tour led by a local expert to observe various bird species 8:00 am: Breakfast at the hotel 9:00 am: Learn about conservation: Guided tour to observe the park's conservation efforts and how they are working to protect and preserve the local environment and species. 12:00 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional cuisine 1:00 pm: Recap and reflection: A group discussion and reflection session to summarize what the students have learned over the past two days and how they can apply this knowledge in their own lives. 2:00 pm: Departure from Tram Chim National Park 5:00 pm: Arrival back at school.
